The BC Wildfire Service continues to respond to multiple wildfires in the Lillooet Fire Zone. There are currently 13 active wildfires within this fire zone; eight are classified as Out of Control, one is classified as Being Held and four are classified as Under Control.

Casper Creek wildfire (K71535)
The Casper Creek wildfire (K71535), located approxi-mately 33 kilometers west of Lillooet in the proximity of Anderson Lake, is now estimated to be 528 hectares in size and remains classified as Out of Control.
The wildfire continues to burn in steep, challenging ter-rain, being influenced by gusting winds and warm condi-tions. The growth reported has been upslope and most-ly to the north, despite seeing cooler temperatures ear-lier in the in week. 24 BC Wildfire Service ground per-sonnel are on scene and one helicopter is providing bucket support.

Downton Lake wildfire (K71649)
The Downton Lake wildfire (K71649) is located approximately 10 kilometres west of Gold Bridge, on the south side of Downton Lake. This fire is estimated to be 80 hectares in size and classified as Out of Control. This wildfire is burning in steep and challenging terrain for access. This fire has seen most of it’s growth and activity on the north and east flanks of the fire. This afternoon, ground personnel are reporting Rank 3 fire behaviour which is a moderately vigorous surface fire. There are 14 BC Wildfire Service ground personnel and one helicopter on site today. Lean-to Creek wildfire (K71705)
The Lean-to Creek wildfire (K71705) is located approximately 18.7 km northwest of Lytton. This fire is currently classified as out of control and is estimated to be 154 hectares in size. This wildfire continues to burn into the alpine and is receiving a modified response.
Stein Mountain Wildfire (K71634)
The Stein Mountain Wildfire (K71634) is estimated to be 20 hectares in size and is currently classified as Out of Control. This wildfire is burning in very steep terrain and is receiving a modified response. The fire is currently burning uphill into the alpine and is currently not threatening any communities. Texas Creek wildfire (K71415)

Blackhills wildfire (K71778)
The Blackhills wildfire (K71778) is located approximately 11 km northeast of Lillooet, on the west side of Fraser River. This fire remains classified as Out of Control at 27 hectares in size. Today, 10 personnel are working on site being supported by two helicopters. This incident is visible to the Pavillion and Bridge River areas outside of Lillooet.
