The Social Development Department seeks to provide resources, employment and educational opportunities to improve quality of life and reduce the need for social assistance for individuals and families living on reserve.

The Social Development Department supports and empowers members through a variety of community-based programs in collaboration with the Health department:

  • Community Kitchen/Food Pantry
  • Cultural Enrichment
  • Individual Support and Outreach
  • Social Assistance
  • Adults in Home Care
  • Family violence and prevention
